John's artwork is a collaboration of New Zealand birds, flowers and horses, he finds by using acrylics he is able to capture his subjects in full bold colours. These eye-catching pieces bring each piece of art work alive. John always tries to make each piece have a point of difference and seeing the paintings evolve in front of his eyes inspires him the most. He tries were possible to draw on his surrounding environment to create his desired pieces so they become totally unique to him.

John was born in New Zealand and is enjoying living by the sea in the beautiful Bay of Plenty.

John studied art at Elam School of Fine Art in Auckland, New Zealand. Once he left school, he worked for Lion Breweries and Fosters as their Merchandising Manager, John then went on to become a professional designer in his own company Marketing Works. For many years John and his team focus was either setting up large events or designing and building large 3D creations for clients in New Zealand and oversea.

He went on to own a Lodge with his wife and focus on a new found passion for painting and breeding Red Devon cows. Many of his art work have been purchased by overseas guests and are now in different parts of the world.

For the past few years John has focused on developing and perfecting his art work into print form so that it can be displayed not only inside but now can be put outdoors on buildings, fences or in gardens settings as special pieces.
